Here is my poster I created in order to promote my artists single and album release.
For the poster I decided there would need to be pictures of
my artist on my poster , so therefore I have included a montage of pictures of
my artist on the poster which shows a clear link between the poster and the
website. The link between all three tasks isn’t has clear however the pictures
that I have included in both my website and poster were taken from my music
video and have been edited in order to create the ‘pop’ style image that I was
going for. Although I did not make a digipak I included a picture of the front
cover of my artist single release in order to promote and show that I have thought about what is to come next. I
also include the release date of the album conforming to standards that the
fans want to know when to go out and buy the album. Also it includes single’s
feature titles which I have included after I researched style models of real
life media products. Also I form to the conventions that many posters have
links to the popular media player, iTunes providing links to this site telling
their fans where to buy their album from and download.
